About the Position

In this role, you will be responsible for the company’s sales in Southern Europe, managing all direct and external sales channels. You will work with both new and existing customers, focusing on oil refineries, mines, steel mills, power generation, and ports. You will spend a significant amount of your time visiting customers and engaging in technical sales to gain acceptance for SurfCleaner’s technology. Additionally, you will have a solid understanding of selling products from various perspectives, such as Life Cycle Cost, sustainability, and service. The role includes identifying business opportunities and transforming these into repeat sales for products, services, and spare parts. Building long-term customer relationships will be part of your daily routine. Your tasks will be both tactical and strategic, including planning, executing, and completing sales work for both small and large projects. The role also involves conducting customer visits and visits with distributors, as well as training them alongside colleagues. You will be responsible for setting the sales budget for your region and following up on your forecasts. Together with the CEO, you will agree on the regional strategy and execute it. The position involves 40-60 travel days per year.

In this role, you will report to the CEO, and the office is located at Karlsbodavägen 39 in Bromma, Stockholm. We believe that, like us, you enjoy being in the office. We are present four days a week (except for business trips).

The role therefor requires that you live in the area of Stockholm. 

Is This You?

To be successful in this role, you need to have extensive experience leading and developing sales directly to end customers and through external sales channels. We expect you to have a technical university degree, likely as an Engineer, with at least 7 years of experience in international sales of industrial products. Experience from our five key segments—refineries, mining, ports/oil terminals, the metal industry (steelworks, copper smelters, etc.), or power generation—is highly meritorious.

We also believe you have experience in selling and gaining acceptance for new technology and are an excellent negotiator. You are also a proficient user of Microsoft Office and CRM systems, and have excellent English skills, both spoken and written. Additionally, you are fluent in at least one of the following languages: Italian, Spanish, and/or Portuguese. Additional language skills are a plus.

The Sales and Operations Coordinator, has full responsibilities of the day to day deliveries to your allocated customers, and support them as their point of contact for technical questions.

Key responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Sales and Operations Coordinator are:

Management of the operational relationship with the dealers in the UK.
Supporting the dealers with the daily basic technical questions.
Management of the deliveries to the dealers. You will process the orders in the system to command the deliveries from the warehouse.
Ensure the invoicing to the customers.
Help your customers through the claim process.
Management of the order portal for your customers.
Support in various logistics processes.

Requirements
Native English speaker, experience in British regional accents is an advantage.
Service oriented and great experience of building relationships with customers.
Basic understanding of an ERP system and the order management modules. Experience of IFS is meritorious.
Ability to travel occasionally.

Your profile
Your main responsibility will be to manage the daily operations with dealers of your allocated countries. In order to success, you will fulfill the dealers’ expectations through a rigorous order and delivery management, and provide a quick answer to their questions.

Relevant university degree (logistic, industrial economy or similar).
Strong internal drive and sense of ownership.
Excellent communications skills.
Strong desire to work in an international environment.
Additional European languages is meritorious.

Distribution Channel Manager
The Role
We are now seeking a Distribution Channel Manager, based at our HQ in Stockholm.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to work with distributors, setting targets, lead and nurture channel sales, manage support and after sales activities including training.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Motivate and support our network of channel partners to meet or exceed their forecasts. For instance, planning and implementing activities that increase the engagement of both channel partners and end customers.
Perform distributor onboarding, training and support activities e.g., train channel partner sales representatives in Biolamina products and applications.
Negotiate distributor agreements and secure contract fulfilment. Ensures all contractual, compliance and legal obligations related to our distribution agreements are met.
Ensure complete and effective regional coverage by identifying new and develop existing distributor relations and contracts.
Serves as the internal expert our distribution channel business by knowing (learn about) the industry, our customers, competitors, as well as legislative and regulatory requirements.
Development and deployment of key performance indicator metrics used in assessing and reporting distributor performance.
Coordinate work with staff within or outside own area to ensure effective execution of distribution channel objectives.

Qualifications
Academic degree, preferably corresponding to MSc or MBA.
EU-resident.
Able to travel +35 days per year.
Minimum 4 years of international – preferably global – working experience, derived from primarily indirect sales environments. At least 5 years from roles with significant commercial responsibility (responsible for channel sales and/or market coverage).
Experience from the biotech industry
Professional level in English and preferably additional languages.
Strong routine when it comes to driving business through distributors (assess, engage, qualify, challenge, develop/on-board, nurture)

The Role
The prime responsibility for the Application Manager 3D is to be the expert in 3D culturing and increase sales within this space especially of our 3D-matrix, Biosilk, enabling our customers to accelerate their research, production and ultimately success.
This is a customer-facing role, where you will introduce Biosilk as the best solution for our cell culture customers working with, in the first instance organoids, but also other relevant in vitro tissue- and disease models. You will have the knowledge, both within the organisation and towards customers, to successfully introduce Biosilk to highly experienced and tech savvy customers world-wide. You will be the one that enables our customers to reach the next level of personalised cell-therapies.

Principal Responsibilities
To be the hands-on sales-lead for the introduction of Biosilk 3D cell culture systems
To in your daily activities demonstrate the full range of our advanced matrix product portfolio via customer visits, phone queries, workshops, and conferences
Maintain a close and continuous communication with key accounts and key opinion leaders to ensure the capture and spread of application- and market specific information
Work closely with our R&D department to understand and shape all relevant 3D applications of Biosilk and translate that understanding into relevant arguments for additional sales
To be the subject-matter expert in 3D culturing and commercial applications
Provide expert training both on and off site to deliver customer excellence

Qualifications
Hold a PhD, preferably in the field of cellular biology or related disciplines
