About the job Governance & Framework (G&F) within Group Credit is responsible for the development and maintenance of an adequate and well-functioning credit governance structure including steering documents on Group level as well as on business area and entity level. G&F also gives guidance and support to the business units and others in Swedbank Group on credit risk issues generally and especially how to interpret and put the credit framework into practice.
One of our main challenges is to maintain a simple, accessible and user-friendly internal credit framework even though increased complexity and intensified flow of external demands are put on the banking operations.
As a member of the G&F team you will develop and maintain the Swedbank Group Credit framework as well as its implementation in entities or borrower segments. You will develop the credit framework in accordance with the Swedbank Wanted position, strategy and values as well as put EU and national regulation into practice in the credit framework. You will draft new and update credit framework documents on group level and for specific areas. You will give guidance and support by explaining and elaborating on the credit framework and the rationales for its content. You will participate in projects implementing and developing the credit framework into automatized and digitalised processes. You will support the business areas in their implementation of new and updated credit framework. Your deliverables will be final versions of credit steering documents but also presentations, explanations, proposed solutions etc.
What you need to succeed You are motivated, a team player with the ability to proactively and independently process a matter to its solution. To be successful in this job you need a strong integrity and the ability to explain complicated matters in a way that is easy to understand.
The role presupposes:
Good understanding of the credit process and credit governance principles
Several years of experience from credit business with larger corporates and financial institutions
Creativity and experience from work in projects, development and implementation
Ability to see the overall picture and at the same time capture the details
Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Ability to draft framework texts in Swedish and English
Relevant university degree, preferably in business administration, finance, economics or law
