I am now looking for a Team Manager to join our group and lead the Pega Center of Excellence (CoE) team.

The Pega CoE is responsible for the central coordination of the Pega platform usage. They manage tools and environments as well as building best practices for the usage of the Pega platform. The team also secures that the platform is up to date according to its stated purpose and general efficiency needs

About the job In the role of a Team Manager, you have an important mission. In collaboration with your colleagues, Team Managers and Agile Product Owners (APO's) in the CPO management team you will provide leadership for an agile team.

You will be responsible for:

A cross-functional team (CFT) of software and infrastructure engineers
Ensuring that the CFT members understand their mission and take on the responsibilities assigned
Coaching, removing obstacles and supporting the team to make sure they can work and deliver efficiently
Ensure that the team has the right competence and capacity needed to deliver the services for the future. This will include new recruitments as well as competence development of the team
In this role, you will get challenging targets to drive the development of the CFT, but you will also have a lot of mandate and freedom in how to achieve these goals.

About the job
You will be a part of a new agile team and be involved in the development process in one of our most important areas within Digital Banking.

We are now looking for experienced developers who can build API´s to enable integration with a new case management system for handling KYC.
As a developer in our team you will work with both maintenance and development.

In this role you will participate in both large and small development projects. The right person also has the opportunity to contribute to design and architecture of systems solutions in these projects.

In the Software Engineer role you will be responsible for:

 Contribute in all areas: analyze, design, develop, test and maintain services delivered by the team.
 Proactively reduce the technical depts.
 Decide on how to build the solution within architecture frames.
 Solve and deploy solutions of incidents and problems.
 Continuously update existing documentation for the services.
 Participate and follow maintenance processes (incident, problem, event as applicable).
 Ensure quality awareness and care when designing, building and maintaining software.
 Act as team player in the cross functional team and constantly improve the way of working.
 Design new tests, improve existent ones and execute tests (unit, security, performance etc.) in order to secure needed quality of the delivered software and IT service.
What you need to succeed
Academic degree in engineering, computer science or any other relevant discipline is a criteria to take on this role. To succeed in this role you need to be passionate about digitalization and truly believe that success is something that can only be reached by working closely with others. This means that in addition to having knowledge about digital innovations and customer behaviors, you also have to be willing to learn from others as well as share your own knowledge and experiences.

Technical skills for this role:

 

 Frontend/Web (HTML, CSS and JavaScript, JQuery, JSP, JSF) with framework such as Angular, Spring
 Integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, JMS/MQ
 Java EE
 Development tools such as WebSphere, Git, Jenkins, Node, Bitbucket, WebStorm
 Test framework like Junit, karma
Beside above competences and experience the role also requires being able to communicate effortlessly in English, both in writing and in speech. Be responsibility taking and self-motivating. You also have experience of working with deadlines and multiple simultaneously ongoing initiatives. Strong team player skills are a must for this role.
