As a Product Owner for Data & Analytics Delivery at Ikano Bank, you have a key role in the success of product delivery in the Agile Release Train (ART). You will be creating and expanding our data solutions that will supply the bank with the data that will fuel our digital transformation. The solutions covered ranges from traditional data warehouse solutions for reporting / BI to more modern solutions (data lakes and streams) to handle real-time reporting and advanced analytics.
You work closely with business stakeholders to create efficient solutions. You are responsible for maximizing overall value delivered by your agile team by working together to deliver the committed objectives for each PI and to ensure a working solution. You create and maintain your team’s backlog and understand features, are responsible for creating and understanding backlog items and drive scoping, descoping, and priority decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Understand Ikano’s strategic initiatives, closely working with Product Management, help deliver products that supports the Bank in achieving the desired objectives
• Support to drive product development to build end-to-end solutions with a team of dedicated engineers and designers by acting as a Product Owner within an agile team or teams
• Responsible for creating and understanding user stories and acceptance criteria
• Understand and provide input to the Product Roadmap
• Build trust and effective relationships with relevant stakeholders
• Understand pain points and problems and address them in a timely fashion.
• Maintain, owns and prioritize the agile team’s Backlog (scope, priorities) in JIRA
• Contributes to the program scope, and manage team scope by collaborating with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, agile teams and other Product Owners
• Define the sprint goals and drive the sprint backlog creation with the team
• Review and accept delivered stories
• Co-define Definition of Done together with the agile team
• Interact with 3rd parties with regards to technical integrations and support of the same
• Participates in agile ceremonies
• Prepares for PI Planning from team perspective
• Keeps track of progress for ongoing PI Planning, from scope perspective

• Several years of experience as Product Owner preferably within financial services industry.
• Experience in Data warehousing / other types of data provisioning, BI and Data Governance
• Experience and knowledge of Agile frameworks, preferably SAFe
• Strong technical leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), including facilitation
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience within / knowledge of data architecture and technical components for Data & Analytics
• You have a passion and drive to work with technologies in a team-oriented environment.
• You are organized with strong time-management skills.

Help us simplify finance for the many people

You will be part of the Swedish Controller-team, responsible for the financial and management analysis of the Swedish branch. Your specific areas of responsibility will include:

• Production of budget & forecasts
• Perform the Monthly cut-off and year-end reporting for our Leasing and Factoring business
• Be responsible for performing the budgeting and forecasting activities for these functions, including organizing and leading meetings with all key stakeholders to ensure that they know their numbers and take ownership for their cost centres.
• Regular monthly follow-up with the heads of each function to ensure that they understand their function’s financial performance, both at an overall level and by cost centre.
• Ensure that cost allocations are done properly to ensure a correct result for each product
• Be an engaged business partner in helping to manage the functions, identifying key drivers and suggesting areas where efficiencies can be gained.
• Ensure that accruals are made according to financial accounting standards, and to secure reliant and accurate financial reports and business decisions.
• Perform various ad hoc analyses, supporting the Head of Risk & Business Control in various tasks related to reporting the performance for the Bank.

Are you the one for Ikano?

We believe that you have Bachelor level degree in Finance or Business Administration and a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Business Controller or similar. You have good knowledge of accounting and management accounting principle as well as experience or knowledge of cost allocation models and basic transfer pricing knowledge. Previous experience from different financial systems and dimension structures is a plus. Lastly, you have good knowledge/ability to assimilate data from accounting systems and analysis-tools (e.g. Navision, Oracle PBCS, Qlikview, Excel).

As a person you are analytical, a quick learner and well structured. You enjoy working in a team and communicating with different stakeholders.
